There is a thing that has been bothering me for some time concerning the story of Joshua and the start of the war in Canaan.
Jos 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
Jos 5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
Jos 5:15 And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
Ok, it seems a bit strange to me when one thinks about it. There was a lot of very pivotal moments in the bible concerning Israel. But the appearance of the Lord in this instance, I believe, signifies something way more than what we think.
For the longest time I have believed that the spiritual war was out there, somewhere in heavens, raging all the time, and this may be true, but there are a few things that I’ve never considered, concerning this story as well as this moment n history. Yes, I do think that is a battle that has repeated itself for an unknown number of times over the centuries, but I also think that we need to have a closer look at precisely what is happening here and then use this to put the things in context of what we are seeing today.
Now the story is pretty straight forward. Joshua cross the river Jordan with the Israelites. They are setup against the city of Jericho and suddenly the Lord appear to him as the Captian of the hosts of God or shall we say the armies of the Lord.
So what do we have here? First we have the army of Israel on the one hand and then we have the Captain of the armies of God on the other hand. Both setup against the Canaanites. So if the Captain of these heavenly armies was there, where was the armies then? Also, why now and why here?
The Israelites were about to engage in a massive war for the promised land. They are going to have to clean this land of its inhabitants. This was no ordinary war, not by a long shot.
I believe that if we look at who was in the land of Canaan at this time, we may find the reason why the Greater Captain has suddenly appreared. That is why Joshua fell down to the earth and worship Him. The recognition that this Captain is outranking him in the greater army that is set against Canaan. Joshua also recognises that the army of the Israelites are part of these armies of the Lord and that this Captain was the supreme leader of both.
So let’s get to the why question here. Why did the Captain of the heavenly armies appeared here? We better have a closer look at the inhabitants of Canaan. The Canaanites were a vile group of people. From conception they were cursed and it is not just because of idolatary but the way they lived. Furthermore, there there were giants in Canaan, this immediately implies that we have some strange powers at work here. These giants were bad news in anyone’s language.
Because God is in control of nations, he will also held these nations responsible for their actions. But in this case it may not have been good enough just to take out the people, there was a spiritual cleansing that needed to be done also. Basically what it means was that there were 2 armies, a spiritual army on the one front and a physical army on the other front.
It is also interesting to note that these two armies worked together. The Israelites had to walk around the city for 7 days, making music, preparing the way for the spiritual army. Does that sounds a little bit crazy? Well just look at what happened with Jericho, the walls was pressed into the earth, so that the army of Isreal could enter. Yes it is the hand of God that did that, I believe, but at the same time the spiritual army was also moving against Canaan. This is no overkill either. Canaan in those days were a cesspool of all things bad.
But this is not really the first time that we see God move against a city or a group of people because of their inequity. Sodom and Gomorra and the cities of the plains were also destroyed by God, but He first talked to Abraham about it. Which seems strange.
Then later on we see that God fought a few other wars for Israel, but it seems each time the people had to do something first.
Note the following:
Sodom and Gomorra: Abraham and God talked concerning the cities.
The Exodus: Moses and the Israelites had to do their bit to make things happen
Then Jericho: another appreance of the Lord, but this time as a war Captain.
Then came the battle of Jehoshaphat (2 Chron 20): Again we can see a very clear link between the physical army of Israel, the role of music and what happened with the opposing army.
The siege of Samaria (2 Kings 6&7) This is also very interesting. Remember that here the Lord used only 4 lepers to make an whole army flee.
But the interaction between the physical and the spiritual is no more clearer than when we look at the book of Daniel - Dan 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
So if you were like me thinking that the spiritual battle was happening somewhere in heaven, then by now you should rethink it all together, because this battle is here in earth. In Daniel we see that there were a dark prince over the kingdom of Persia.
So if we now go to Ephesians 6 we will see these bad guys identified in ranks.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
It is believed that the prince of Persia was actually Marduk, from what I’ve read. Now if this be true, then we should be really concerned because:
- An article describing the arrival of Marduk has appeared in newspapers in March/April 2013. Apparently as an alien. He landed in his spaceship in an north African country.
- 3 Of the living presidents of the United States visited the African country where “this alien” landed. Why did they do that – Clinton, Bush and Obama.
- Thereafter Obama also visited South Africa and apparently at the burial of Mandela in December 2013 all of them went to the Voortrekker monument in Pretoria. It is suppose to be some sort of gateway.
So if it is true that the prince of Persia is back, then we should be able to see the escallation of all things bad since his arrival.
In Africa we started reading about goblens and all kinds of mytholigical creatures appearing, even water spirits that stops the building of a dam in Zimbabwe for a time.
The apparent insanity of the liberal left groups against the concervatives. This irrational behaviour which is very difficult to explain, since a lot of them don’t really know why they are doing it, they are just controlled by the liberal media and lies. It also seems that they have no desire to really desern between what is a lie and what is the truth.
The LGBT groups and planned parenthood that are going ballistic over Donald Trump, but the things that they are doing is much worse, like kiiling babies and selling body parts to big pharma companies. Oh, and by the way these guys have quota’s on how many abortions they do, and if they reach their target, well then they have a pizza gate style party, in other words pedophilia.
But let’s get back to Marduk –( The test is still – If he arrived like it was reported in 2013 – then did the hirrible and bad things escallate or not? Well you decide for yourself.)
Where is this Marduk now? Well I don’t know. But what really concerns me is what is going on with the liberals or so called left in the USA. It seems that there is absolutely no way to reason with these people, and it is not just there, but it is all over the Israel countries that we see this crazyness. I got to ask: Is this the influence of Marduk and his principalities, his rulers of darkness, the wicked spirits in high places? To be honest, yes I believe so.
We are now seeing a division taking place right in front of our eyes. An intersting thing that we should consider is that just as the Israelites are still with us today, so must be the remnants of the 7 nations that lived in Canaan, and some of them mingled with the Israelites.
If this is truly the time of the harvest, we should see the difference between the good seed and the bad seed very clearly. So the division of people all over the Israelite countries should suggest just that.
But let’s stand back from this for a moment and consider what we have learned from all of this. The major point being the interaction between the intersessors and the spiritual warriors.
This interaction between the two, suggest in the first place : ACTION from the physical realm. In other words, action from people. Now this action entails 2 things:
- Moving towards God and asking Him for power and support; and
- Standing up and start moving against these dark powers.
Both imlpies some serious action. The first one is to pray and fast for insight, wisdom, knowledge and power, but above all for a strong and unwavering heart to stand for righteousness. Our God is a God of righteousness. That is what he ask of his people
Mic 6:6 Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
Mic 6:7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Mic 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Look at this, God require of us to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with Him. This is a very simple truth, but also a very powerful one. So may people always say: God is love. All we need to do is to love God, that is his first and biggest command. Yes it is, but maybe we should look at what he says about loving Him:
Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
So in what light should we then view Micah 6:8. Maybe it will be worth our while to study the concept of righteousness in the bible, of being just and doing the right thing. We should not radicalise love and forget about righteousness. These things goes hand in hand.
It is important then for us to understand that at some point we should stop talking and start doing .
We cannot expect to overcome evil in the land by sitting on our behinds and let the left or the so called liberals or nwo monkies dictate terms. No, we have to go out and meet them and take them on, because if we want to partake in the glory of Christ, we will also have to fight in his army. This is our time, this is the place, we have to stand up and fight for what is right.
Our biggest problem is that we have been conditions not to do it. This conditioning has been happening in our churches for a vey long time. Our christian faith has pasified us all through some very clever interpretations of the word of God or the bible for that matter. We were made to believe that we are so privileged so licky that we need to have very bad concience for all those who are not so lucky or let’s called it what the churches are calling it – we are extremely blessed and therefore we need to share our blessings with others. In itself it sounds incredibly good, the problem however is that the less privileged started to believe in entitlements. They keep holding their hands and we keep on giving because yhat is the “right thing” to do. While I really do not have a problem to give to people, I do have a problem with keep on giving , because I work for my money and they need to do the same. But our churches made us believe that we are somehow responsible for these people’s misfortune. Out of this were born what we now see as the humanistic religion. It has very little to do with God and a hack of a lot to do with people.
The next very bad thing that the church leaders did, was convince us that Jesus Christ would come aand set the record straight. That we just have to believe, do nothing and wait for the Lord Jesus Christ. When He comes, boy he is going to be mad, and he is going to whip everyone into submission. Up to then, all we have to do is go to church, give to the poor, pray all the time and sit on our hands and wait for the Lord to come. This is a great and very easy religion to follow, so everyone loves it. Besided there is no better way to show your love for the Lord other than to be a clueless puppet in the clutches of the pastors and other clergymen. Now we are brainwashed into submission, because the church has abdicated its power to the state, therefore now you are a clueless puppet in the hands of the state. They tell the church what they want, the church make sure the people gets the message, and lo and behold, it happens that way.
We need to uncondition ourselves urgently. This fight is going to cost a great many lives, and most people won’t even know why they are giving their lives, because they never toook the time to start thinking for themselves. That is not good citizenship, that is plain stupidity. At this moment you are a slave of the system, you are not free. At this moment your bondage is your freedom. It is so easy, just do what you are told, no questions asked. Just beleive everything the establishment says, because they knows best. Easy way to live, very simple. I don not have to understand anything, I do not have to study and learn what is going on around me, no sir, just do as I am told. So easy.
But there is also a kind of bondage in freedom, because you got the responsibility when you are free to behave in a responsibly manner, to protect the weak and to fight with everything you got to stay free. There is very few of us at the moment in this category. These are the people who learn, who study and who think for themselves. According to the establishment, they are the real thread, and that is true, because they have the power to effect change and change is never good for the establishment. But a lot of them are also lulled and passified. Waking people up is not a simple task.
