Why this name of this website?
The website is build on the basis of what is written in Revelation.
Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Jesus Christ has made us kings and priests. It seems that many of us are very willing to be priests, in fact it seems that many of us believe that that is the only thing we need to be. However, to be a priest is only half of the story.
As a priest one has to learn what the plan and purpose of God is. One has to commit oneself to the to this plan and purpose. As a priest, we learn and understand what the “will of God” is. Being a priest is the starting point of a child of God in this earth, but it is by no means the end of it. The text tells us that he has made us kings and priests, not only priests.
Therefore, as one learns to be a priest and I am not talking about becoming a priest in a church somewhere. I am talking about being a priest of God in everyday life. That is what we are called to be, each one of us. Remember we are brothers and sister, we are equal in the face of God. This then is for each one of us.
Our example in this is the John, because equallity in Christ is everything.
Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
In this passage John clearly stated that he is our brother, not our evangelist, not our pastor, not our preacher. He is just our brother, and so should we view ourselves also. In Christ we are all just brothers and sisters.
Therefore, when you start understanding the plan, the purpose and the will of God a little bit better, you will also start understanding what your position in Christ is.
We know that Christ is the High priest after the order of Melchizidec
Heb 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
Heb 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
Heb 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
Heb 7:17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
The order of Melchisidec is that of king and priest. Therefore, it stands to reason that if the church is the body of Christ, what does that make each member of the Church? Or is Christ, which is the head of the Church, sitting on a throne, without a body?
Therefore if Christ is already king and priest after the order of Melchisidec, then He is also making us kings and priests, else His body would be pretty useless. Therefore as one learns to be a priest in one’s everyday life, one also need to learn how to rule in the same way to ensure that the words of Christ, comes to past in your life.
So the simple question would be: How do you expect to rule with Christ, if you never practice it in this life. We need to change our prespective, we need to look differently at things. Only then will we be able to stand tall in the face of the giants set before us. Trust me there are huge giants set before us. We will need to understand the plan, purpose and will of God and we will nedd to learn how to command in the name of Jesus Christ, if we want to overcome.
I sincerily hope that this website will help to give you insight and understanding in this process.
I do not have all the answers and I don’t pretent that I do, but I do know that if we stop sitting around like lifeless corpses, and we stand up in the name of Christ, we can make a real difference. This is not a website to evangelise, this is a website with the sole intent of teaching God’s children that we have a responsibility to rule over the powers of darkness, that we have a responsibility to fight the good fight in the Name of Jesus Christ.
This is my motto:
If you don’t stand for what is right, you will fall for all the wrong reasons.
This website is not to passify, but to ignite. Bravery for a child of God, comes from the Holy Spirit, not from within himself.
